About Me

My name is Robin. I was officially diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis on August 5, 2014.

This isn’t a blog about MS. This is about how I’m trying to live the rest of my life without letting MS define who I am. I am still a wife, a business owner, a hairstylist, an artist, a leader, and an independent woman. I am all of those things and I do them all while I face the daily pains and struggles of living with this terrible disease.

I want to raise awareness about MS for those that don’t understand the challenges we face and I hope to provide some helpful information for others coping with similar issues even if it is just so that you don’t feel alone in the fight.

There is no cure for Multiple Sclerosis. There are various treatment options to help ease some of the symptoms, but there is no cure. To help fund research to find a cure you can donate to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society. 83% of the donated funds go to research and they are  making great strides with stem cell innovations. Head to NationalMSSociety.org to donate.

At home I’m the happily married wife of Tom Gazzara, a hard working restaurant manager and my real-life Superman. He has been by my side through everything and makes me laugh constantly without even trying.

My Career

I’m the proud owner of Salon Head Candy, along with the 2 locations of 12 oz Studios Tattoos! I’m a very experienced hairdresser, having traveled all over the country teaching the robin1latest trends in cut & color to other industry professionals. Certified Master Haircolorist with advanced training in all aspects of hair color, along with being Certified in  Hotheads Extensions, Vidal Sassoon cutting, Sebastian cutting and styling, BbU Salon Business Training, and much more.
